Youth Programs / Educator Resources

HexLab Makerspace is a community workshop with daytime youth programs that compliment the Next Generation Science Standards and STEAM education provided at traditional schools.. We have a variety of programs that can accommodate groups between 15 – 60 students at a time.
Our field trip programs cover a variety of topics surrounding the maker movement and traditional science instruction including the engineering and prototyping process, 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics, electricity and wireless data. Through group discovery and discussion students develop a core understanding of the practical use and applications of each technology which helps develop their core understanding of the ideas presented.
If you are interested in bringing a class to experience a hands-on technology workshop with our staff, please contact us at (818) 530-7900
